In the course of remodeling our living room we needed to replace an existing sideboard and provide space on the same wall for a large, flat screen TV (42”), AV equipment and speaker cabinets. There was no singe piece of furniture available that could fulfil the required functionality and at the same time provide good aesthetic appeal. We realized that we needed a piece of bespoke furniture and were directed to Aidan Kennedy by a local interior designer. With the aid of some basic sketches and a house visit we conveyed our requirements to Aidan. He duly returned on the agreed date with a number of sketch proposals and budget prices. Taking form and our budget into consideration Aidan returned within 3 days with a detailed drawing and a final price. We agreed on the design and price and Aidan took detailed site measurements and delivered and fitted the unit on time. The quality of workmanship and fitting exceeded our expectation and the unit has been a conversation piece with visitors since, all of whom have been highly impressed. Our experience with Aidan was all positive from inception, design to final construction and installation and we can heartily recommend him to anyone requiring a piece of bespoke furniture of quality design, construction and installation.

Aidan O’Kennedy has created a number of one off pieces for our home over the past number of years.
